Financing Your Education

Although the cost of a theological education at the Jesuit School is significant, we want everyone who applies and is accepted here to be able to attend with as little worry of financial burden as possible.

To meet these aims, the Jesuit School offers tuition grants and special scholarships to students on an annual basis. We can also help guide you to outside agencies that offer private scholarships and sponsorship opportunities.

If you want to attend the Jesuit School, we are committed to helping you get here and providing you with the most thorough and rigorous theological education at a reasonable cost.

People who want to combine theological training with fieldwork in a multicultural parish may be eligible for Lilly Scholarships, which cover all tuition for the three-year Master of Divinity program at the Jesuit School of Theology. One recipient, A.C. Caldwell, plans to "focus my energies on my combined love of social justice and spirituality. My studies won't mean anything if I'm not working with people who are struggling."
